Superb performances from Terry Shanley (Clane A.C.) and Ciaran McGonagle (Letterkenny A.C.) saw both claim silver medals at the World Masters 100km Championships in Ames, Spain!

The Irish team battled exceptionally tough conditions as temperatures climbed to 33Β°C, with the men’s team finishing 12th overall and 8th among the European teams.
There was also a brilliant performance from National Champion Patricia McLoughlin (Le ChΓ©ile A.C.), who finished 4th in the W50 category in 9:07:15.
Huge credit to all of the athletes and support crew who represented Ireland in incredibly demanding conditions.
