Cork City Sports Celebrates 70th Anniversary with World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze Meet

Cork City Sports, one of Ireland’s most prestigious athletic events, is proud to announce its 70th Meet with a Continental Tour Bronze event scheduled to take place at the MTU Arena on Tuesday, July 9th. This year’s meet promises to be one of the most exciting yet, as it will feature top athletes from around the world competing in this Olympic year.

For over 70 years, Cork City Sports has a long-standing tradition of excellence in athletics, attracting elite athletes and spectators alike from across the globe. The event has served as a platform for both established stars and up-and-coming talent to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating our 70th anniversary this year,” said Tony O’Connell, Chairman of the event. “Over the past seven decades, the meet has become synonymous with excellence in athletics, and we are honoured to continue that tradition by hosting this Continental Tour Bronze event.”
