The Remembrance Run 5K has officially launched for 2026, with this year marking the 15th edition of the special annual event in Dublin’s Phoenix Park.
For 15 years, thousands of people have come together to remember someone special, and on Sunday, November 8th, participants will once again walk, jog or run 5K in memory of a family member, friend or someone who has played an important part in their lives.
The 2026 Remembrance Run 5K, supported by 123.ie, will take place in the Phoenix Park at 10.00am.
Participants are encouraged to bring a photograph, carry the name of a loved one, take part with family and friends, or simply come with someone special in their thoughts.
The event will once again feature the Wall of Remembrance and Remembrance Screen, along with music, poetry and song. A one-minute silence will also form part of the morning before participants set off on the 5K route.
