Testing Experience
Coming from a background in calisthenics and strength training, my transition into running has been less about chasing mileage or the perfect time and more about gradually increasing the amount of time I spend on my feet. That shift puts a lot of emphasis on comfort and support. As someone with flat feet, I’m particularly aware of how quickly fatigue can build if a shoe doesn’t offer the right structure. The Aero Burst felt supportive from the first run. The cushioning helped soften impact while the Arch Fit insole added a reassuring level of support through the arch. Over longer sessions, the shoe maintained its comfort and stability, which made it easier to stay relaxed and focused on my stride, breathing and techniques.
Midsole

The overall result is that the shoe feels cushioned but still efficient.
Upper
The engineered mesh upper is lightweight and breathable, helping keep the foot cool during longer runs. It wraps comfortably around the foot without feeling restrictive, and the traditional lace system allows for a secure and adjustable fit, not to mention the unusual hint of sparkle on the mesh is super stylish. The padding around the heel and tongue adds an extra level of comfort, making the shoe feel supportive without becoming bulky.
Outsole
The Aero Burst is finished with a Goodyear Performance Outsole which adds durability and reliable traction. Grip felt solid on both road and treadmill surfaces, even in our wonderful wet Irish weather. The outsole design also contributes to a stable base underfoot, something that becomes particularly noticeable during the slightly longer sessions when maintaining form can become more challenging.
