Now recognised as Ireland’s fastest-growing mass participation event, the Regeneron Great Limerick Run welcomed over 16,000 entrants in 2025. An economic and social impact report commissioned by Limerick City Council revealed that nearly half of participants (49%) said the event was their main motivation for starting physical exercise.
